And BREATH

Taking a few days out of your normal routine can really be the holiday your body and mind need. You might ask yourself where has your routine gone during lockdown but if you’re like me you will have created a new routine. And this still needs to be reviewed frequently. Is the new routine working for you? Is the new routine serving you? Time out from sitting at the desk at home, engaging in zoom calls, active participation in the various WhatsApp groups - this all takes its toll and has become integral to our daily existence which wasn’t as much pre-lockdown.

The body needs to recharge and to release tension, tightness - that resistance that can cause pain and lead to serious problems and conditions. Have you noticed new aches, a soreness, an upset stomach, a sorry head? The mind too needs to unwind and the thoughts need quietening. Have you felt over-whelmed, anxious, frazzled?

When do you step back and STOP? Have you not been curious as to why you’re getting those aches, that busy train of thought?

Isn’ it time to listen to what your mind and what your belly is telling you.

Is it rest? is it timeout?

Ask yourself this question - if miracles were possible what would you like to bring more of into your life right now? What would serve you and how can you make that happen?

Maybe then your current routine changes slightly and you ache less, you’re breathing less in the upper chest, you manage to sleep without an interruption in the night.,

Give it a go - a break might just be a morning out sipping mint tea and eating cake, a day away from social media, an afternoon walking in nature.
