YOGA

Chris found yoga after falling out of love with the gym - it just wasn’t working for him. A neighbour suggested that he should try yoga and she took him along to a Sunday class. From that day on he’s developed his relationship with yoga both as a yogi and as a practitioner. In 2016 Chris travelled the world for a year and trained in Goa, India completing both a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training course and a 50hr course in ‘Yin’ yoga. His style of yoga is a combination of Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow with an emphasis on ‘one breath, one movement’ and the invitation to step out of the mind and into the body. Chris took his training further by qualifying as a yoga teacher for Children with Special Needs, Levels 1 and 2 and is qualified in Indian Head Massage for Children with Special Needs. He has recently trained in Yoga for Sleep Recovery and Insomnia.

BREATHWORK

During his relationship with yoga, Chris became ever-increasingly interested in the power of breathwork. He attended a ‘Conscious Connected Breath’ workshop and he realised how the breath could be used as a vehicle to help improve mental, physical and emotional health. He recently qualified as a breath coach and in his sessions he uses breath to help others connect to a deeper understanding of themselves - internal archeology. In each session Chris guides his clients to relax their minds, to calm their nervous system and to alleviate anxiety, stress and depression.

REFLEXOLOGY

Chris trained as a reflexologist because it is complimentary to yoga, breath-work and coaching. either as an independent discipline or combined with 1 or all of the other 3 approaches to well-being, giving a 360-degree approach. Chris believes strongly that, by working specific reflex points, the body relaxes and cleanses. Reflexology allows the body and mind to restore its own natural healthy balance and can assist you to be less stressed, more relaxed and dissipate aches and pains .
